About

Hi, I'm Angel.

I love helping people get comfortable with technology. That has been my work for most of my career.

I have spent nearly 20 years in consumer tech, starting on the sales floor in 2007. For more than 15 of those years I worked as an educator and trainer, leading hands-on workshops and helping people get the most from their devices. I trained new trainers, technicians, managers and business teams, and I ran tech camps for kids.

As a creative team lead, my team's workshops reached the highest average attendance company-wide, and I built education partnerships with local school districts. Today my work also includes operations and workforce planning, so I know how to make technology work for real people and real schedules.

Along the way I have taught more than 1,000 students, from first-time computer users to creators building their own brands.

Where I come from

I was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, and I now live in South Florida. I teach in English and Spanish, so you can learn in the language you think in.

I mentor in my community and volunteer as a youth volleyball coach. I like connecting people, seeing their strengths and helping them finish big projects.

Creative work, too

My work goes beyond devices. I executive produced reality TV in the Dominican Republic, and from 2011 to 2023 I ran Sons of Creativity, a studio for video, photography and sound. In 2020 I founded Co.Lab Studios (opens in a new tab), a creative production hub in Miami. I also develop podcasts and curate guests for shows, matching hosts with people who fit their theme.

I am certified in Final Cut Pro, I hold a Dale Carnegie High Impact Presentations certification, and I recently earned the Google Foundations of Cybersecurity certificate, which helps me teach people how to stay safe online.

How I teach

My approach is simple: be curious, learn by doing, and leave each session able to do it on your own. I have taught more than 1,000 people, from first-time users to working creators, so I know where people get stuck. Sessions are one-on-one, so we go at your speed.

We meet on Zoom or FaceTime, or in person in South Florida. You leave each session knowing what to do next.
